Design and create content to support growth of company through branding and marketing.  Help increase sales of products through strong marketing and advertising, video, digital and print.  Coordinate additional responsibilities for the department by maintaining promotional materials; supporting meetings and trade shows; preparing data for reporting; and maintaining contact databases.  Help to support and improve online presence and overall digital marketing efforts.  Be detailed oriented, creative, pro-active, and self-motivated.



  • Create and convey brand messages and work to improve brand awareness.
  • Create videos for products (marketing and instructional)
  • Create and update marketing and advertising, digital and print (currently the company advertises with 24X7, TechNation and MedWrench)
  • Maintain and update the catalog (using InDesign)(currently ~150 pages, domestic and international versions)
  • Maintain and update the company websites (www.bcgroupintl.com, www.bcgroupstore.com, www.bccalibrationservice.com), offering suggestions for redesign options where appropriate, including looking at dated sites (www.ohmicinstruments.com, www.lloydindustriesinc.com, www.jpccontrols.comwww.dytec.com
  • Design and distribute monthly newsletter (distributed through - Myemma.com)
  • Create banners, promotional materials and content for digital screens for trade shows.
  • Provide content and support for internal marketing, including photos for employee ID's, digital slideshows and employee announcements.

Skills and Knowledge:

    • Working knowledge of photography, videography, page layout, social media platforms, and Web analytics tools, including Google Analytics and Facebook Insights and Marketing Cloud.
    • Proactively offer recommendations on new social media strategies and tools, including best practices learned in collaboration with peers and or upline.
  • Strong writing and editing skills; ability to extract relevant information from written and verbal sources.
  • Able to work independently, with the ability to think, write and present ideas both creatively and strategically with strong attention to detail.


  • Must be proficient in using the Internet and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook); advanced knowledge preferred.
  • Proficiency with Adobe products, (InDesign, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop); advanced knowledge preferred.
  • Website maintenance experience and familiarity HTML required; knowledge of SEO best practices preferred.
  • Familiarity with multiple Web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE, Safari, etc.).
  • Basic photography experience required; more advanced knowledge preferred.
  • Proficient with photo retouching, manipulation and color correction skills creating, and delivering marketing programs to support the growth and expansion of company products and services.
  • Proven experience in writing for digital communications channels and social media properties preferred (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Basic knowledge of print design required.
  • Must be a self-starter and innovative thinker



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication or related field.
