Production Electronics Technician

Position Overview:

Biomedical Test Equipment manufacturer, distributor and service provider is in need of production technician. The technician does final assembly, operational and initial testing, and calibrates our electronic test equipment. Our technicians use procedures to measure equipment for conformity with specifications.

Responsibilities:

- Experience with electronics hardware installation, repair or maintenance required

- Previous experience with calibration or test equipment a plus

- Troubleshooting (locating and correcting a problem) in malfunctioning circuits

- For example, meters, calibrators, ranges of current and voltage, etc.

- Must be able to troubleshoot a board down to component level

- Adjusts or repairs units per written specifications

- Experience using Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, and Signal Generators

Requirements:

- Ability to perform data entry into databases and spreadsheets quickly and accurately.

- Ability to apply Ohm's Law

- Must be detail-oriented and organized.

- Ability to follow instructions, both written and oral.

- Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.

- Ability to manage time wisely and meet deadlines.

- Must observe safety and security procedures and use equipment and materials properly.

- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.

- Must take initiative to ask questions to work through all problems in a timely manner.

- Job requires repetition and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

- Associates Degrees or equivalent experience required
